He and his wife died 3 months apart.

They both lived long lives. She was 90 when she died.

I'm sorry to hear that.  I never realized he was that age.  He had a fun, youthful energy.

And the deaths just keep on coming - seems like there are so many lately.

Part of being sick enough to stay home from school was getting to watch Let's Make a Deal.  Lots of game shows back then, for that matter.  Monty Hall surely had a long life.

Monty Hall and his wife both lived a very long time.  I always enjoyed Let's Make a Deal. 

Fox News has an interesting write-up about him.

According to his daughter, Sharon, her father managed to raise nearly $1 billion for charity over his lifetime.  Monty Hall had empathy for others and wanted to help them (because of his life and events in his young life) made philanthropy and fundraising his avocation.

May, Monty & Marilyn Hall both rest in peace.

I can't believe he was 96.  I feel like time has stood still.

I think that was my mom's favorite show........or the spinning wheel show...or both. I could not call her during those hours....
