Re: Michael Strahan 19 year old daughter brain cancer

I saw the story but didn't post a new thread because I am not well liked here. I get snarky responses if I say the sky is blue. Many reasons why people don't post. I am praying this young woman gets a good outcome and has a long and healthy life.

Well then, kudos to you for posting it here in such a heroic fashion and then additionally and sanctimoniously scolding others for not doing so. Really?

I just saw the video last evening and it was both heartbreaking and heartwarming. I thought of Michael and his lovely daughter, Isabella, through the evening and night with prayers and good wishes for them both. But I truly never thought about coming here and blasting others for the topics they choose to post or not post about. Woman Frustrated

I don't think @Somertime was scolding, I think she was surprised.  I don't think there is any need to scold HER.

Outrage and scolding because something was not posted?

QVC Forum posters are now required to post any and all news bulletins....what a strange mindset.

Wow.  Unbelievable.   You really can't make this stuff up, but it actually happens here.

@Citrine1   It has been all over the news for the past two days...full coverage!  Keep track of your own underwear!  The interview with Robin Roberts went virual.

Very sad and I wish her and her family well. Dreadful, but she's fortunate that at least her family has the resources and contacts to help fight this battle. All that said, some of us don't hang on the news, celebrity, celebrity children or otherwise. Just as did you, people post what they choose to post.

I don't think anyone needs scolding over this but would suggest her 'surprise' was conveyed as indignation, which was unnecessary.

A shopping forum is not my news source so no need to scold posters about not posting the story.  It's well publicized via the media.

Probably because as parents and grandparents; it's just too painful to think about and chatting about it is pointless.  I read the story yesterday and it didn't occur to me to jump on this board and blah blah about.  It's every parent's worst nightmare.  I'm praying for a miracle for her.

I wanted to bring this up yesterday morning after I saw it on the show but I knew if it was on here and I had overlooked it, I'd get called out about a repeat post.

But, I was crying as I watched.  My next concern is if her twin sister will come down with the same condition.  If they are identical twins as they look to be, that is a probability.  Isabella was trying to be so brave!  Robin had tears in her eyes as well.

This was my thought as well.  I'm sure they are having the sister evaluated, tested, etc.  Very frightening for the family.
