One of the most beloved of operas, Puccini's La Bohème is a sensitive portrait of young bohemians in 1840s Paris, focusing on the joys and sorrows of love between Rodolfo and Mimi. Featuring Stephen Costello and Eleanora Burrato, conducted by Yannick Nézet-Séguin.

I grew up listening to Saturday Matinee Met opera broadcasts, still do...and will be tuned in for this beauty!

If you have a movie theater that shows Live from the Met, do yourself a favor an go!  They are great!  During the long intermissions, they do interviews, go behind the scenes, etc., etc.  And it's like having the best seat at the opera house!
