I don’t think the photos here do them justice, but I personally loved Keke Palmer’s and Anne Hathaway’s dresses.

I thought, for the most part, the dresses were extremely beautiful. But I also kind of missed some of the crazier designs (thank you Jared Leto and Doja Cat for filling that need - both dressed as his cat.) Does anyone know if people were asked to wear black and white? There was so little color on the carpet.

I adore Viola Davis. I love the color of her dress (as it's my favorite color of all time) as well as the color of the dress on her, but I get undeniable Truffula Tree (featured in Dr. Seuss's The Lorax) vibes from the upper part of her dress.  I wish the top of her dress were different, and more classic, or even like Olivia Rodrigo's dress (which is rather unique and interesting) with flowers at the top in the image just above (although they would have to be in that stunning bright magenta/fuchsia to match Viola's dress, of course).

I am not impressed in a positive way by the vast majority of the clothing posted thus far.

I was in the mood for a little escapism last night, so I poured some wine and tuned into the televised coverage.

Overall, I thought many of the participants looked lovely.  I appreciate that so many of them chose fabric for the event.  Refreshing.

And thank you @They Call Me MR Wilkes for including some that I didn't catch last night.
