turning on the closed captions does help with mumbling and whispering -

Yes...i love Lord M.......and Alberts voice kinda creeps me out......when he cut his shirt to put the flower in while they were dancing would have been enough for me to run the other way! ha.

Graciesmom:  I got so used to using closed captioned for the British shows and then when I started watching Scandal, during the first season they spoke so fast I used it then also.  Now I use it for everything!  It is so much better when you have the written dialogue this way you don't miss anything.

If you miss an episode of any of PBS shows the roku has all of them (there may also be other options of which I am unaware).

Each week I think, can this series (Victoria)  move any slower?  And it does.

I'll stick it out as there are just a few hours left.  Who knows, something could happen.
