Meghan McCain and Ben Domenech Tie the Knot

Meghan and Ben tied the knot today at the McCain ranch in Sedona with 100 people in attendance. Sen. McCain gave his daughter away and Meghan will return to The View on Monday:

Wow, I didn't know they were an item. As Meghan McCain has gotten older, I have found her to be a quite thoughtful, interesting social observer, if a bit volatile still. She will be a good match for an intellectual type like Domenech.

Getting married at sunset in beautiful Sedona, no doubt with the last rays turning the red rocks even redder-- what a dream! (I went to school near there, and adore Arizona.)

And I concur, @Nancy Drew, what a sweet moment for the family with her father to walk her down the aisle.

I was hoping maybe she got married, I was hoping she wasn’t absent from The View because of her father’s health. How nice he was able to walk her down the aisle.

i think they have been an item for a while now.

while i dont generally agree with a lot of her views, i think she has made a very good addtion to THE VIEW. she seems like a nice woman with a lot of strong opinions. she has been holding her own quite well.

Anyone know what he looks like? I thought a photo of him/them would go with that article, but there wasn't one.

@sunshine45 yes it's my understanding that they have been together for over three years but managed to keep it under wraps through lots of help of their very dear friends (their Twitter feeds were hilarious once the announcement was finally made).

I like Meghan very much. While I too may not agree with alll of her positions, I find her to be smart, well informed and consistent in her opinions and beliefs which I appreciate very much. I hope they all lhave the best, most loving holiday season ever.
