Maud Adams in Octopussy - Who might she resemble in looks?

My obsessed James Bond DH was watching Octopussy tonight - again LOL! He called me in to see Maud Adams (I've seen this a few times too) and asked, "Do you know who she reminds me of?" I didn't even look at the screen and I said "Melania." We both think Maud Adams in her younger days and Melania look a little alike. Maybe it's that model's "frown"! What about you?

No, I don't see it, but I would never have known her. Those models, which is what she was first, know all the beauty tricks. I wish she would share

yes, in her earlier years she did resemble melania.

i will be seeing maud adams in september at a nostalgia festival in the maryland area.

@beach-mom I looked at the photo before your post and immediately thought "Melanis." However, only in the first photo, with the dark hair and I think a lot of the Melania resemblance is because of her facial expression in that photo. In the other posted photo Maud by another poster and in the blond photo, I think "not so much." But at first glance at the dark-haired photo in the OP, yes, definitely Melania.

I just looked at a few of Maud Adams old pictures and don't see a resemblance at all, other than the stern expression in the photo posted. Maud has big eyes for one thing.

Off hand I wouldn't have thought so, but your first picture, beach-mom, does resemble her. You are perceptive. I think it is in the cheekbones, somewhat in the face shape, and the coloring-- brown hair with tawny highlights, blue eyes, healthy-looking skin tone.

Some people have a naturally solemn expression at rest-- almost a child-like solemnity and pensiveness. That's a similarity too.

This might sound crazy, but I have always thought that Melania looks like D. Trump. I am not kidding. When you see a photo of them together their eyes (the slant and the squint) are exactly alike. They could be brother and sister.
