Not a gross generalization about the state of Americans, unfortunately, and it's only gotten worse.

The National Center for Health Statistics at the CDC showed in their most up to date statistics that 74 percent of adults in the US are overweight and  42.4% of U.S. adults were obese as of 2017–2018 (43% for men and 41.9% for women).[12]

To me he looks a little overweight with a belly. He does not look obese to me. He is not heavy all over, just his belly.

The guy may have gained a few pounds, it happens. Not a reason to be concerned I don't think..

Just an older, overweight guy having a smoke.  Not really newsworthy.  At least his tee is long enough to cover his belly 😂

He's gained weight.  All that belly fat and smoking is definitely not good for his cardiovascular system but he looks like millions of 60 year old men in this country.  I assume he's retired and living his life.  Which is none of his former coworkers' business.

I think he's still cute.  Sure, he's gained weight (as have I).  It's hard to maintain that 20 something body when you're pushing 60.

I would be nice if he could stop smoking but, unfortunately, many people still do.

He may not be in tip top condition, but I hardly think that fans need to be "concerned" about him.  Much ado about nothing.

He's gained a bit of weight and smokes.  Perhaps he indulges in narcotics, alcohol and random unprotected intercourse.

Maybe a brisk walk about the neighborhood will help cure all his ills.  I've read that it solves everything.

Amazing how many of you KNOW so much about he and his friends co stars.  They are worried, call him daily, etc.  This is just gossip and speculation.  He's almost 60 and is overweight.  How many of us are in the same position?  So sad people don't have anything better to do with their time.

@brandiwine

Since the articles about friends' concerns about Matt have been in several online publications, I don't think this is "gossip and speculation".

More like you taking a cheap shot at the posters here.

Articles about Matt in the past week:   Newsweek, The Mirror, OK Magazine, Parade Magazine, Page Six and People.

Didn't see it, but I bet TMZ had something to say about it, too.

Nothing wrong with discussing articles in the news this week, is there?
