Well, I watched the first episode and I think it was woefully miscast. Both Darcy and Lizzy are so lifeless. But now that I'm invested in the story, I'll watch to the end. I know I won't bother reading the book.

Ok he's no Dr Darcy to me and as much as I loved Anna Maxwell Martin in The Bletchley Circle she just isn't Elizabeth. I do think the casting is well served in Georgiana and Henry though. I'll watch the rest, just for the gorgeous scenery.

Ok, I have to admit, I only saw the last 30 mins. .......... I had to watch the finale of Boardwalk Empire, but I have to confess, it was rather boring to me!

Ok I watched the rest of it today. It wasn't even that enjoyable. I didn't like the story at all. What a horrible Darcy. And really the long lost sister kills herself because he's sentenced to hang? Really?

I really wanted to like it. But what a poorly written and poorly cast show.
