@ECBG@LTT1 I started wondering if the TV show was following the real history....here's something interesting I found:

It even mentions the difference in the Queen's apperance AND her mentor's age and appearance.  Read it, it's interesting....

@ECBG I kept thinking that I never saw paintings of any women who were pretty back then.  Guess I was right!  Ha!

I am "into" Victoria. I guess maybe I am more bored by life than at other ages. I want to try to become familiar with the history of England because every other time I have read or watched about it I have immediately forgotten what I just learned! LOL

Back when I used to read, my favorite books were biographies of royalty or the history of various monarchies.
