wsmom, I'm like you. I'm not one to watch something like this when the previous season was such a disaster. However, it makes ME realize how mixed up I might be because I'm not proud of myself (like watching a train wreck) but I'll probably watch the new show.

If it isn't the specialists fault, then who's fault is it? They were the last line of defense between these 6 (men and women) people. Especially, and obviously, the women trusted these specialists to check out the males, their incomes, their backgrounds, personalities (not just matching but their personalities, etc. They had no way of knowing these people.

I haven't read anything yet about any of the women suing these guys. I would think Jessica's Ryan would be a good one to sue along with the show. He seems dangerous to me (that temper).

I would think that they have the couples all sign contracts about appearing on the show, spelling out the rules, what they will pay for etc. Besides they all agreed on getting married at first sight. Season 2 is a failed experiment, They should all just accept what happened and move on with their lives.

I'm not sure if I'll watch season three at this point, but I have not deleted my Season Pass yet.

This one turned out even worse than I would have imagined. I almost wonder if they aren't just turning it into a big drama fest, like so many reality shows, instead of keeping some credibility that was lost after season one.

chicken, in our earlier posts I saw somewhere where it was said that (although you'd think it would have been more thought out, based on the fiasco this last season was) they were making some of the same mistakes.

To immediately start filming after this terrible group of males tells me they are REALLY money hungry. I guess that's the name of the game, mo money.

I'll probably watch it out of curosity to see if the same thing is going to happen. I only watched bits and pieces of the show before this last one (came into knowledge of the show late). I did see the follow-up of the season before and it didn't look anywhere as much of a fiasco as this last one.

Yeah, the first season was VERY enjoyable and seemed to be, near as I know, pretty successful what with two out of three couples seeming to be making it.

Yeah, I think they drama'd up some stuff but it seemed more genuine in a number of ways.

But season two was, clearly at this point, just beyond disastrous and it seems like they really dropped the integrity they had in S01.

I'm not going to delete my Season Pass yet and will probably give it a chance but my expectations are colored by how drastically differently they did the second season. It DOES seem like it may have become just a money-making game instead of a genuine thing that I really thought that it, for the most part, started out to be.

I am taking a wait and see approach, too. Season 3 is being done in Atlanta, not New York, this time. So time will tell if this holds my interest & I continue following this show.

What does 'season pass mean?" You have to pay to see some of these shows?

Sorry. It's just a Tivo term for when you make it to where the Tivo will automatically record any new (or new and rerun if you so choose) episodes of a given show.

Actually, they recently changed the name to 'One Pass', which is kind of weird but I guess it added some new features. I hate it when they change the name of something when there is no good reason to do so.

I still call it a Season Pass, as it's pretty much a universally known term.

Realizing this OT, has anyone been following the show "Arranged"? We've just watched the "meet the couples" at Veeral's sister's house (which looks like quite the mansion). It was very entertaining; that's all I'll say.

I have watched this show a few times, since it comes on right after MAFS. It is a bit different, but I think the draw on these shows is the actual couples/personalities. I have a difficult time watching the young teenage couple, she is only 17 and still has braces on her teeth! Have they ever explained what the boy & I do mean boy, does for a living?

The other two couples are just ok. ( I just cannot remember all their names on this show).
