Will the tropical storm affect the concert Saturday? The storm is suppose to be east of NYC but there could be strong winds and rain. With the concert in Central Park, I wonder if alternative plans have been made.

Looks like it's a perfect day in the park. Sun is poking out and winds are calm. 

Bocelli is singing and playing his flute with the NY Philharmonic.

The Brooklyn concert was really nice.  Sparse crowd, everyone/groups pretty much stayed 3 ft apart.   The Brooklyn concert was only for vaccinated folks.  Had to show proof.  I still wore a mask.  Concert was off the hook!!!!! 

I was taken aback by the number of "young" folks there who weren't even born yet when hip-hop/rap was started in NYC.  More of them then my generation!

I did not go to the Queens concert.  From what I heard, George Clinton looked every bit his age - 80?  The Parliaments/Funkadelics were "new."  No Bootsy.

I watched the Central Park concert on TV till the rain shut it down.  LL Cool J still got it!

I found that surprising as I remember Diana Ross CP concert was done during a torrential rainstorm!
