Re: Manifest -- anyone still hanging in?

Yes, but I am also way behind with DVR'd episodes.  I actually still like it very much.

I think I've posted at least twice that I was through with this show.  But I hung on.

Found the last 3 episodes to be outstanding.  FINALLY it's moving beyond a snail's pace.

Of course it was the season finale, so we have to wait until January.

I have hung on as well even though I found out last month that the show has been canceled already. I know someone who works on the set.

I'm hoping your friend is wrong.  Just googled and found this:

NBC may not confirm whether or not Manifest will be renewed for a second season until May when the networks host their upfront presentations for the 2019-2020 fall TV season. However, Manifest's impressive ratings so far give fans hope for a Manifest season 2. With delayed viewing, Manifest is average 15 million viewers per episode and has a 1.8 average rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic. These are strong numbers for the freshman series, and a good sign that the mystery of Flight 828 will continue for at least one more season.

Absolutely! I know some people want more sci-fi from this show and less family drama. I find it a nice mix.

Also still watching but haven't watched last night's yet.  I plan to stick with it; I like it in spite of the actors/characters.  :-)

Yes, watched the entire season. Although there were moments that I thought had too much drama, for the most part the show kept my interest. I give the series about 3.8 stars, not quite 4 because of the over-drama and lack luster characters. Story was good but that's where it ends.

I am TRYING to hang on to this one.....but sometimes

feel like it is heading in the direction of "LOST" from

years back....going in so many directions it is hard to follow................haven't seen the last show yet.....will

see how it goes....

I like it for the most part. Although I do agree that some of it is a bit slow and lagging.  I will continue to watch if it comes back.

Re: Manifest -- anyone still hanging in?

Does anyone think that the gal who created the research that is being used on these people, is actually in on the actual manipulation of the people? I got that take on this last episode. She grabbed papers which were supposed to be her research that was being used, even though she claims not to be involved. But my thinking is that she IS very much involved with using these people as guinea pigs. Perhaps she is the ring leader.

What do you think in regards to her?

@World Traveler - I think you may be right, with regard to the blonde British lady.  I got suspicious when she drove off in the ambulance with all the victims of the study.  Did they really go to the hospital?  Hmm...
