MERIT STREET (NEW TV CHANNEL)

[ Edited ]

I heard Dr. Phil had started a new channel and finally found it this morning. It's called MERIT STREET.

Other than Dr. Phil shows, have no idea what the programming is on the channel, but installed it as a "favorite" on Direct TV.

Does anyone else have this channel and know what type of shows will be offered?

***BTW, Dominique Sachse of YouTube fame hosts a morning show at 8AM. She moved to that Texas city after breing tapped by Dr. Phil. She had a news background.

Re: MERIT STREET (NEW TV CHANNEL)

I was over Dr Phil during his last season that I don't think I watched more than the first 2-3 shows.

I don't get his channel but have found his new show on another satellite network. What I saw was just as boring and preachy as his last season on network tv.

Re: MERIT STREET (NEW TV CHANNEL)

It's been on my Comcast lineup for a few months.  I know there is a Steve Harvey show, Nancy Grace crime show, news and I have seen a few movies while channel surfing.

Re: MERIT STREET (NEW TV CHANNEL)

It's the Dr Phil channel from what I can see...new and re runs.

Big pass.

Or...he's angling for a political job a- la Dr. Oz. (remember that clown?)

And like Dr. Oz, it'll be in a state he currently has no idea where it is located on a map.

I like the new Merit Street channel, which I get thru Roku, but it can be seen online and on other broadcast carriers.

I like that the news is given straight, without telling you what you should think about it. I do not find there to be any left-leaning or right-leaning in how the news is delivered.

They keep adding new things to the lineup, but for now this is what is on there:

Morning Show, hosts Dominique Sachse, Fanchon Stinger, and Joe Guam

The News on Merit Street

Nancy Grace, crime stories

Dr. Phil True Crime, provides in-depth analysis on cases

Steve Harvey, insights into life's daily dramas

Somebody’s Gotta Do It with Mike Rowe

The Island with Bear Grylls, group of British men/women take to remote, uninhabited Pacific Island, left completely alone for six weeks

Dr. Phil Wake Up, morning show with advice for parenting and family relationships

Centuries Collide: American History

The Scott Rasmussen Show, public opinion pollster provides weekly updates

Professional Bull Riders (coming in July), 10 teams, 12 cities, 1 championship

Small Town Big Deal, hosts participate in local events

Dr. Phil Primetime

I have the channel on Dish. Anytime I am surfing Dr. Phil has been on. I won't watch him for 2 seconds as I can't stand him. My opinion is he is an arrogant man, full of himself.  May check out other shows.

Re: MERIT STREET (NEW TV CHANNEL)

I've been watching when I channel surf.......many classic episodes that have been interesting, since I missed the original airings.

Also, newer Primetime episodes.

Merit Street TV has a website for schedule and where to watch info.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

'Oh'........make sure you re-scan channels via your TV remote.

I've run across various 'new to me' channels that I didn't know were available.

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
