Since the new season has started and the "pros" have done their matches, has anyone watched?  I'm still trying to remember all of their names.

Last week, watched the show with Kevin Frasier hosting with others discussing who they think will and who will not make it along with other previous MAFS contestants.  It was nice to see Ashley/Anthony and pictures of their children.

I'm looking forward to it and hope it's much better than last season.

Yes! I'm loving this show. Right now, it is such a hopeful time. You always want to believe that they will make it....but then, little by little, most of them fall apart. I never miss an episode.

I didn't realize it had started or I somehow forgot --- ooops!  I have to catch up, ladies!  I'm glad I opened up this topic.  Thanks!

Morning ladies.... What did you all think of last night's episode and the first wedding?

Regarding last night: I love the weddings and watching their initial impressions. That groom last night is adorable. I hope he doesn't get hurt. The bride is gorgeous and seems really nice. I think she looks so much prettier with her hair loose and down. I don't know why so many women insist on wearing their hair slick back or up on their wedding day. I hope they make it.

                       Glad you started this thread., @HisElk1                                                                                                           I was looking forward to Denver last season, as I thought it would bring in some "down-to-earth" Midwesterners, which is my stomping grounds.

                      Well, we know how that season fizzled out.

                     I've got my hopes up for Chicago, and overall I like more of the choices than usual. The women are drop dead gorgeous. This seems to be a little bit older, late 30's, some early 40's in the group, and with job descriptions that make them gainfully employed. Well maybe with the exception of Karla (Carla?), the moon child Smiley Sad She really is a mellow one, especially on the AfterParty.

@Fiddlededum , so glad you posted here.  I agree about this season and hopes many will make it.

I haven't watched the AP yet but will when I have time.

@ciao_bella

Did they not do a show where the "experts" got together and went through applicants and showed who they liked and were matching, and also going to different of their houses and talking to them?  If they did, I missed it!

I thought the first show was pretty good.  They gave some details about each person's life, family and friends.  I know I am of an old generation but I really didn't care for when the women first all got together and really started discussing pretty much in detail all the se*ual things that they liked to do and expected, etc.  I think this stuff is something you keep private or at least if you feel you need to discuss a certain thing like this, you only talk to a close friend, etc.  The women seemed to be more out there in this regard than the guys, although this will probably change.

I am also thinking - well, here we go again --- all the couple will probably be getting into each others' business, etc.  More drama, I guess, and I suppose this is what the network wants!

The first wedding was o.k. I guess.  The couple seemed to be pleased with each other but not much was really shown.

 I think that he really seemes to have high hopes and really is ready to commit.  I like that a lot of the people are slightly older and am hoping that this also means that they are more mature and really are ready to settle down, etc.  I agree about the hair.  I guess they want to look more glamorous for their wedding by often wearing their hair up.  I think a lot of men prefer hair down.  But in the end, it's what the bride wants to feel special for her day!

Well, we know that the fairytale weddings and often honeymoons (not always) often do not translate to every day life.  The moon child is kind of out there but isn't she also the one who loves to dance?  And she is to be married to the man who also said dance is an important thing in his life, so at least we know they will have one thing in common.  Also, they are both or seem to be high energy.
