I'm going to agree with @tends2dogs about the "whiner Michelle". Everyone was smiling and glowing pretty much last nite, and she on the otherhand looked mad. All that restlyn and botox, kept the frown lines, and forhead wrinkles, from showing up, but she was clearly still mad. I'm being completely gullible, and setting myself up here for all the daggers I deserve, but I almost feel like Madison did Michelle a favor by taking David off her handsSmiley Happy

Michelle is a "professional victim". I used to know someone like that. Her infamous saying was: "I'm the poor little starfish that washed up on the beach". All fish analogies aside, I had my own built in dislike for Michelle right off the bat. Her new transformation, the weight loss, the hair extensions, obvious fillers, and facial work , including botox and restlyn (sp?) lips, made her look like a Khardashian, or like all the rest of the Hollyweird plastic females. Her personality is so toxic. Did she even get asked by Kevin Fraser about dating again? I don't recall or maybe I missed it.

I was also surprised by the answer the women gave to "who are you mostl likely to go to for support or however he worded it?" Camille was the surprising answer. I thought with all the editing that they kept to themselves. When she did give an answer, it was real vague and not very supportive from what I saw. I guess I don't see any of those women as being a bit supportive of each other. I thought it was the most disconnected bunch, and season so far. Any group gatherings were filled -w- tension.

I also was surprised IKEchi could be supportive and had a good answer about Madison and David and when the chemistry started. Too bad ole David didn't use it earlier on. Ikechi said "David was actually doing cardio and didn't realize he was even doing cardio". That was when he was talking and sharing his unfortunate matchup with Michelle, to Madison in the gym workouts. I really think the old saying "misery loves company" pertained to him in that situation. I doubt his heart rate, BP and pulse were improved during those "sharing sessions", but he had someone to share with and talk to over the same concerns. Madison is no dummy, she performs better in front of the camera than some of the others. She knew what public perception on social media could do to destroy them. Ryan (TX) of Ryan & Brett on that segment after this Reunion I show, stated it much better than I can when he and Miguel were discussing "body shaming" and Miguel was trying to explain his usual type and why Lindy was not it. Ryan jumped in and saved him by explaining the "do's and don'ts and where not to go and what not to say in that area.

I agree Michelle if off-putting to say the least.  She needs therapy to figure out how to take the walls down.

@Fiddlededum 100% she did her a huge favor.  Had that not happened the takeawy woud have been what a mean, condescending shrew Michelle was since she never gave David a chance and talked and looked down on him from day one.  This was a gift to her.  Now she can play the victim card and preen.

Re: MAFS - season in Chicago

I did not like Michelle at all. I thought she was downright mean to David. But, in retrospect I think she knew he was a waste of time. He could have proved her wrong by sharing what he saved to buy a home. He could have shown her what kind of home he was interested in buying. He didn’t do any of that. He also appeared sloppy and lazy.

When he walked on the treadmill next to Madison he walked at a snail’s pace. He smokes there is no way he ever did that before.

He kept on trying even though Michelle didn’t give him the time of day. So, I assume he will do the same with Madison. She is immature, and not relationship material. When they were talking, she said if someone blows up her phone and asks where she is when she is out with her friends. She is turned off by that. It was an issue in past relationships. Huh, why would that be an ongoing issue? That was a red flag for David. He never saw it. All he sees is blond hair, along with a new set of boobs and he is good.

They are perfect for each other. Shallow.

Michelle needs to look deep and figure out why she is allowing her past to prevent her having a future with someone.

Re: MAFS - season in Chicago

At the start of the matches, I liked David; however, my opinion of him has gone downhill a bit because of how he handled the relationship with Madison.  IMO, they both should've waited out the 8 weeks, both said they want a divorce, then the 2 of them could've began their relationship.

@manny2, you made mention in your post that David could've shown her what he had saved for a house.  I will respectfully disagree as IMO, it really wasn't any of her business and as much as he kept trying to open communication and have a discussion, she didn't want to hear it.  All she did was talk over him.  Why would he want to disclose that info to her?  I know I wouldn't release any of my financial info to anyone that treated me like that.

Michelle would do better for herself with some counseling; she is now 40 and if she continues with the way she is, she will end up not having her "person" in her life.  She rather enjoys playing the victim while not looking in the mirror and getting therapy that she direly needs.  JMO.

Re: MAFS - season in Chicago

What a waste of 2 or actually 4 hours. I still don't like any of hese people any more than I have all season. I didn't like how Camille started to play her little mind game when Kevin asked if they were still together. Tom answered right away, but she was starting to hint that they were not together. I hope she didn't go home and jump on Tom for calling her out on that. So annoying.

Michelle looked pretty. That is all I have to say about her, other than to agree that she is  not going to find anyone who meets her needs.I don't think Madison saved her from David, as she was never going to give him the time of day, anyway.

Madison is mean and selfish and I am sure that the "true love" she has with David will not last. How can two people whbo got together by cheating ever be able to trust each other? David looks much more committed to the relationship than she does.

I am pleased that both Allen and Juan seem to have found nice relationships. I was surprised that Karla and Juan still seem to get together. I got the impression that Karla didn't want that with him.

I am not buying that Em and Brandon have a real relationship. Especially since Brandon seems to want Pastor Cal to marry them. If that is not a red flag to Em, then she learned nothing. She will end up with 2 divorces in the same year.

I watched the second show, but didn't know a lot of the people. Meka sure was fired up, and Gina looks the same and still hasn't learned how to close her mouth or wear a dress that stays on. Miguel was kind of interesting with what he did/didn't say about Lindy.

I wonder if next week is the last show or if they will have more fillers after that? I do wonder how they will fare on Peacock.

I see your point @HisElk1 , but they were married. You are supposed to disclose different aspects of your life. He knew she was concerned about his financial stability.

David did not show any growth. I changed my mind after he cheated.

I noticed he looked sloppy after the wedding, but I still felt sorry for him. Not anymore.

Michelle clearly has issues, but I am team Michelle. She dodged a bullet listening to her gut.

I would also imagine the editing was a factor, to add drama.

Re: MAFS - season in Chicago

I am so tired of hearing David preface his statements with "to be 100 with you" or "to be completely honest with you"- so annoying! I don't think we'll ever get the truth from Madison or David.  Why can't they just say when they started hooking up? The damage is done and a year has passed. They're being so evasive about the time line of events. Hook them up to a lie detector! 😅

Re: MAFS - season in Chicago

It was interesting.  I thought everybody was pretty civil and that was good.  I thought it was good that Michelle explained that her issue wasn't that she wanted David or was upset that their marriage didn't work out because she knew that it wouldn't, but her issue was that he lied so many times to her face and he was given the opportunity many times to tell her the truth.  The same thing with Madison, who she thought was her friend.  She had confided in Madison a lot about her marriage and Madison sat there and listened and act like she was her friend and meanwhile she was in a relationship with her friend's husband!  MIchelle also confronted Madison and tried to get the truth out of her and she still lied!  This was Michelle's issue.  I don't think this should be hard for anyone to grasp.  I would feel the same way and I think most people would feel the same if they were in this situation.

Alan was a gentleman as always.  He was initially very angry and irate -- who wouldn't be?  But he got over it and then was hurt.  He had a right to be.  He seems to be moving on very nicely and good for him.

David moved out of the basement and just as I said --- straight into Madison's cushy apartment!  The way I understood from what he said, he and Madison bought a house for an investment property, not for themselves.  Wonder how much he invested???  If they have worked out -- fine.  It was just the way they went about it.

As for Em, she sure jumped in very fast with this new relationshiop, but if it's a year later and they are still doing fine, then good for her.

As for Ick, yes, I was shocked that he was as nice and civil as he was and actually made some sense.

Karla is so cute.  I hope she finds somebody special.  Juan seems to have found somebody.

I don't have bad feelings toward Michelle.  She got to the truth and good on her.

As for the other show about past seasons, I have high hopes for it but it was boring.  They never really came out with anything interesting at all.
