Live Production Of Rent In 2019

I just read an article online Rent will be live on Fox, January 2019. Also productions of The Little Mermaid on ABC and Bye Bye Birdie on NBC (both live productions) are pushed back til 2018. We will see A Christmas Story on FOX in December.

@Jordan2 Thank you! Like @NickNack, I saw RENT...first on Broadway and then more recently when it came to Chicago. Loved it! Especially love "One Song Glory" ... Heart

The storyline in RENT is adult.  It's not like watching Peter Pan with the kids.

 

Dare I admit, I fell asleep during a performace of RENT. (and Taye Diggs, Jesse L Martin and Idina Menzel were in it)

There's a 'school' or 'sanitized' version of Rent. I wonder if that's the version they'll be doing. None of these choices of musical really excites me.
