On one of the episodes this afternoon, this lady was driving down the wrong side of a highway!

She refused to get out of the car when stopped so they got a police dog to remove her.  Both arms were bloodied from dog bites as she was sitting on the ground. WTF???

Since when do they sic the dogs on you if you refuse to get out of a car?????? confused.gif

The studio team & responding officers are r.e.a.l.l.y. good with the explanations.  I don't remember that particular episode.  Did they not explained what happened?   It makes sense... I could see if she was resisting, they would call K9 to assist w/ the removal.  They've used K9 before to remove a guy hiding behind a dumpster at a Walmart....they're pretty quick to cooperate when they know K9 is coming in.

I thought I'd seen every episode and I don't remember that one, either but - yikes!    That really sounds weird.  My memory is not what it used to be, though.  Smiley Happy

Those dogs are very effective and I've yet to see one of the perps on this show resist, once the dog came along.

@sidsmom

The only explaination was "she refused to get out of the car after being asked several times."

No explaination on why none of the "several" officers could't just pull her out.

I'm watching the Saturday marathon.  I got started at 2pm.

K9 is an officer.  She's fortunate it didn't escalate.

Every stop seems to lead to "weed" in the car or on the person.  I'm getting bored.

@sidsmom yes I watched! Look forward to it each week.

I'm beginning to think I'm one of the few people that isn't driving with no license, a suspended license, drugs or alcohol or outstanding arrest warrants.

Those K-9 dogs are amazing to watch!

@sidsmom

Sitting here with my bowl of popcorn. Can't wait to see what happens tonight.

I see they added Washington. I wonder if they'll add any major cities like New York, LA, Philadelphia etc. any time soon.

Re: Live PD: New Episode

[ Edited ]

@lainey1

I read where Tulsa ended their Live PD contract,

even though 'Sticks' is still in studio.  Washington state

is nice where there's more daylight due to the time zone.

Canine shades....niiiiice.
