Those were the days, my friend.

I enjoyed the documentary, as well as the documentaries CNN ran prior to The Sound of My Voice on the 60s and 70s in particular.  The documetaries started with the time of the Beat Poets, that evolved into a musical revolution.

I did not realize that Linda was such a valuable friend to Emmylou after Gram Parsons died.  Emmylou was virtually unknown at the time that a group of friends and I caught her in concert in Iowa City at the University of Iowa in 1975.  We did know at the time, though, that Emmylou was singing backup on Bob Dylan's latest album.

*sigh*  Really wish Linda all the best.  Such an accomplished artist.
