Wow, I just kind of checked back. I watched and enjoyed the first couple of years. There's mostly new people on here now it looks like. Real pioneers!!!

I love this series, I could watch reruns over and over I never get tired of watching how they survive by living off the land, there are a few characters who I could do without but nonetheless the show is interesting same goes for Life Below Zero The Next Generation.

I watched this show religiously for years but 2 or 3 years ago I got sort of bored and burned out with it. Maybe I'll take a look and see if it looks interesting again.

My husband said he likes the new cast members as well and is really enjoying the show. He also watches Mountain Men and said to tell you the new cast members on it are worth watching. Marty who traps in Alaska will return this season.

I watched it for a while too, and found it really interesting.

But then I heard that a lot of it was "staged and scripted" like that Alaskan Bush Family program - I'll stop and only watch a few minutes of it while channel surfing now.
