One thing I found very interesting during the Oprah interview was that both boys have placed blame on their mothers.  Wade says he has no feelings for his mother and James is on the road to forgiving his mother but is not there yet.   This is a great example of why children are not competent to make decisions and, as LoriLori stated above, " What does a seven-year-old know about how life should work?"   The boys wanted to be with Michael overnight and sleep with him and both mothers let them, when of course neither should have.   That's a bit why I'm so surprised that both boys have bad feelings towards their mothers, when it was they who wanted to stay with Michael and when Wade didn't want to go with the rest of his family to the Rocky Mountains.  This is why parents need to make important decisions for their children and not let the children make them.  Anyway, I was suprised that both men had hostility toward their mothers.

They were little boys and a parent's job is to protect their child. I am not surprised at all about the hostility.  Unfortunately, I know what they went through.

But anyone with an open mind can see the screaming evidence that he did these things.  He never slept with a woman or adult male in his life.  Only boys.  He only wanted boys and when they grew older he threw them away and replaced them.  Classic.

Not true. Many people with "open minds" find the supposed facts presented suspect. And how on earth does anyone know if/whom he slept with in his life?

He never slept with his wife Debbie Rowe, he made her sign away the rights to see her kids -- thinking about "Blanket" makes my stomach churn although he's the one that was not from Debbie Rowe.  Money  money money, she was after money too, how could he do that?

There is no reason to think he had sex with Lisa Marie.  He was not interested in girls. or women.  She will not discuss him.

You didn't watch the show.  Those who watched can spot those who did not.

Not true again. My goodness there is quite a bit of presumption here. From "He never slept with a woman or adult male in his life" to telling me what I have watched. Everyone is certainly entitled to their opinion, but not to presume that their opinions are facts. Everything presented in a documentary is not a fact, particularly when the other side to an event can no longer be told. It is most certainly a horrible topic and I wasn't there so I don't "know" anything for sure, nor will I share my opinion. I simply am pointing out that presumption does not equal fact. Your spotter is off because I have watched, this and many other programs concerning this issue. JMO.

Then why did he have a bigtime pre-arranged kiss with Lisa-Marie at the VMAs?  Who does that?

And if you read the comments (pass the fawning ones) you'll see one person says read Randy Tamborelli about how that was staged and a second person describes how Michael stage-managed every camera angle.

But I'll say it again, @Angels&Ladybugs :   You didn't watch.  It's obvious.  You say you've watched "this and many other programs" but you didn't watch this, it's obvious, and there has never been another "program" (this is a film) like it, ever.

I'm still trembling in the aftermath. So troubling.

I wonder if the producers will pursue a sequel and if others will come forward.  Through my online reading, I came across the name of Omer Bhatti who is still apparently close to MJ's kids.  His is an unusual story as MJ befriended him when he was 11 and he was still part of the inner circle when MJ passed.  Would be fascinating to hear his story, but doubtful that will ever come out.

Safechuck's mom is one that I had a hard time following at times.  She said she thought of herself as a mother figure for MJ and it's just a coincidence that he bought them a house right after James testified.  Did anybody believe her about the house?  I could see how she was being groomed, but somehow it seems like she would have caught on.

Found it interesting how Corey Feldman has reacted since he's been so outspoken about molesters in Hollywood.  Macaulay Culkin appears to be silent about the documentary.  I've been watching his Twitter but so far no mentions.  It's hard to believe MJ didn't try anything with them.

I think Michael was clever enough to not be inappropriate with some kids - especially high profile kids like Corey and Macaulay. He knew the kids and families to prey upon - the self-proclaimed “nobodies “.  It was a heartbreaking documentary, but a necessary one, I think. Hopefully, it will be an eye opener and prevent some victimization of this sort. I applaud these men for their bravery.

I think too he judged these familes as people he would be able to get away with this stuff.  They also fell for his "act" about how he needed their help.  I think in the movie I saw about the Catholic Church abuse,  they had priest admit that they went after the kids that knew they could get away with this stuff.  My son will be 24 this year, it is all so scarey,  I think something Oprah stressed was that almost all of the time the abuser will be somebody the family knows,  please keep your eyes open to protect your children and grandchildren, trust your insticts.

Jerry Sandusky chose disadvantaged kids from broken homes.

Really?  confused.gif

Mark Lester (actor) admitted his sperm was used for Paris-Michael and Prince-Michael #1, both of whose mother is Debbie Rowe who signed a contract she'd have the kids and take a large sum of money to stay away.  I think she reached out to Paris when Paris tried to kill herself.

Prince-Michael II, aka "Blanket," who was dangled over the balcony (so unforgettably disgusting) was delivered via surrogate and not sure anyone knows who his sperm donor was.  Just googled it and Michael Jackson claimed it was his own sperm.

Even the names...this guy was so sick it is staring us all in the face.  But his kids loved him and like Wade and Jimmy and the rest, they didn't know a different life, only Michael as their father and no mother and veils and balconies and...ugh, this man was so sick.

I don't see a resemblance between the kids and Mark Lester.  I always thought Prince resembled Dr. Klein, the dermatologist, though, and MJ's relationships with Debbie and Lisa Marie bizarre.

Were there nannies for his kids?  Lately I've read that MJ and Omer Bhatti were the primary caretakers. If that's the case, they probably had some major difficulties transitioning after his death.

I have always loved his music and dancing.  However I have always thought he had severe mental issues.  His obscession with children especially little boys was sick.

Re: Leaving Neverland documentary on HBO

He had a real obsession with his own crotch.

The family (brothers and a cousin) released film of two of MJ's concerts on youtube (?), one on each of the nights the documenmtary was being shown, trying to distract, draw the audience away from the documentary.  I guess they live off of the estate somehow and are worried the river of gold will dry up...or at least decrease in flow.

Anyway, in the clips shown while the story about that was being reported,  it looked like MJ was wearing a pair of gold hi-cut panties over the rest of his clothes and seemed to love "caressing" the front of his body.

What a freak.

[ Edited ]

@@pearley  ...I agree about Oprah.... and rarely watch anything she produces anymore

I believe the young men who were the subjects of this documentary.... I am a retired social worker.... sadly I have dealt with victims of sexual abuse and I have studied their behavior/both the behavior of the victims and the perpetrators....  the perpetrators are sick people who rarely change their ways.

Oprah admitted she had a personal agenda for doing her program... she knew she would get flak for it.... I am glad she did it.

It is time to unbury this "secret".... too many children have suffered and are being abused now.  Much of the time it happens within the child's family....

We cant cure all the ills of the world.... but we can attack them one at a time.  Educating people about what is happening is a good beginning...IMO

And the USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nasser, who abused so many (over 300) talented young gymnasts for 14 years was in a position of power over them.  This happens as well.

They had a dedication to their sport that he used to prey upon them.  Simone Biles, Aly Raisman, Gabby Douglas, Alyssa Baumann, McKayla Maroney, on and on and on and on.  He didn't seem to select, it was that widespread.  His leverage was their commitment to gymnastics.

Like Jerry Sandusky there were those who covered for him and allowed it to go on and on.  Today there is a politician who is still sticking up for Nasser.  Sickening.  No way all those girls are making it up and he's also been convicted of having child pornography.

The thought of Michael Jackson showing child pornography to the children is sickening.
