I was bummed when I heard this was the last season for Poldark. I never saw the original, so not sure how things turn out.

I love both Poldarks, the old and new.  There have been so many great series on Masterpiece theater since its beginning and as each series ends, I look forward to the next.

I am also watching the Durrells in Corfu which is in its fourth season.  It is light hearted and so enjoyable, the scenery beautiful.  

Two very different series, two hours of TV excellence.

No interest. With Elizaeth out of the "picture', no passion to be found with Poldark

The version from the 1970's ended with Elizabeth's death IIRC, so this one is going further in the story with an extra season.
