Interesting.  Sometimes the studio wants them to seem to be involved for publicity for the film.  Your post points out once again -- and I maybe fell in that hole -- we never really know the truth unless we know the person.

Let me state the obvious.

They are A.C.T.O.R.S. 

Yes, I’m adding Lady Gaga to that list.

Really any entertainer (singing, acting, etc,) is acting, to a point. 

Odd...I think those who want them to get together in real life

would probably be the same ones banishing them to the

Scum-of-Hollywood Walk of Fame if it really did happen.

Lady Gaga grew up in a very traditional Italian family. Doesn't mean of course that she still wouldn't get involved with a man who is committed and has a child. The way Bradley talks about her, he's not exactly without admiration for her. Men and women can be friends and can even be attracted to each other without acting on that attraction. I've never read that either one of them has ever been involved in infidelity.

They played a couple in the movie, they had chemistry since the moment they met and they talked for hours at her house over spaghetti.

Maybe that's why Bradley's Mom was there too, to make sure Bradley behaved 😉 Before he was with Irina I remember reading that his Mom was a factor in many of his relationships. As in a  momma's boy factor. She lived with him too, don't know if she still does. 

Anyway yes he directed the performance last night and told Gaga "Let's make some joy".

I thought they were FABULOUS! A very moving experience.  I do believe they have a connection, it was his first time directing and her first acting experience.  I do believe they bonded and are very connected to each other and that they take pride in that.

Their performance was beautiful and they brought all of us into the moment.  I am happy for both of them because I think it was very rewarding for them as well as for us as an audience to have two people so attuned!  It's been a long time since I have been so effected!  I delighted in that.  Good for them, it's called TALENT!

He's taken his Mom to a lot of red carpet events when Irina is off on modeling/runway jobs, they are very close.

I personally don't think that taking care of his Mom means that Bradley has the "momma's boy factor".

He didn't need Mom there to "make sure Bradley behaved" either, since Irina was there and sat in between Bradley & GaGa, and Irina was obviously so proud of them for their performance.

IMO, that's what is was, a great performance, just like the movie.
