There were two movies made featuring various cast members of the original series:

We have the entire series on DVD.

RIP Lara Parker; she was 84.

Hard to picture her being that age!

I bought the Dark Shadows dvd set. I loved that show. I had a crush on Quentin Collins & loved the Angelique character. Dr Hoffman was always terrible with her lines. When you watch DS now, it’s more “campy” & fun than scary.

@Stray  exactly !  I like it though .  My younger self didn't realize that of course .  Plus in the day soaps weren't very polished

The soundtrack reached #18 on the Billboard album chart.

Quentin's Theme peaked at #13 on the Singles Chart, August 1969!

What a phenomenon!

My favorite is "No. 1 at The Blue Whale."  I can always picture Carolyn dancing The Frug in that bar.

I remember seeing Lara Parker in "Race with the Devil".  It is a horror film about two couples who go on a cross country trip in an RV who witness devil worshippers in a secret ceremony.  They are spotted by the worshippers and are then followed to try to silence them.  It is an excellent movie.  It starred Lara Parker, Warren Oates, Loretta Swit and Peter Fonda as the two couples.

Another Dark Shadows fan here.  I was in grade school.  Hard to believe someone hasn't heard of it since there was also a movie based on it a few years back starring Johnny Depp, so lots of ads.

How old was she when she passed?

@Puzzle Piece   I saw that and it brought back so many memories.  I still have plenty of the Dark Shadows books and a few of the comic books.  My friends and I LOVED the show.  They had the album.  Loved Josette's Theme.  I usually revisit the movies for Halloween.  I went through all the episodes a while back.  Campy now but still enjoyable!!

Lara, David Selby and Kathryn Leigh Scott at the premiere of the "reinterpretation" in May 2012.  Each had a small cameo.  Jonathan Frid, who also made an appearance,  passed away one month before the film's release.
