I thought the same.

was not blown away, although many parallels of my life are in this film and I did have a knot in my throat near the end.

Sometimes I tend to forget all I have tried so hard to forget. Hmmm, this is rather profound lol

I'm stunned by that.   I didn't care for it.   All teenaged angst that has been done over and over.   I thought it would never end.

Just saw it. It was ok, not much of a storyline IMO. I can’t imagine who rated it super high.

No, it wasn’t all that unique in the storyline (angst).

I’m pretty much over teenage angst. lol

However, I could not wait to get away from my mom when leaving for college... but that is another story.

It would have been WONDERFUL if my dad had collected bits and pieces of scattered memories to send to me that showed me how much she loved me.❤️

Our DD and I probably had some of these same issues as those presented in the film.

I just have never felt it so much as I did in this film.
