I like Lana Turner but I'm not a Kirk Douglas fan.

One of the best roles Lana had, I think.  She's an actress who's the insecure daughter of a famous man, which seems to make her all the more vulnerable to Kirk's mercurial Hollywood kingpin.

 

Apparently the character was partly based on the real-life Diana Barrymore, who also had to deal with a famous Dad...
