Apparently Costner and his wife of 18 years are divorcing.  He is 68; she is 49.  They have 3 kids.  I don't know why I seem interested in this, but he always puts himself out there as a family man.  Discussion now online about marriages with partners of these ages.  And that's today's gossip!

That's unfortunate, but divorces happen to many people who still remain committed to their families. I really don't know much about the lives of stars.

This is interesting because back when there was the slight uproar over whether he was going to continue with his role as John Dutton, I remember reading that his wife wanted him to stay at home more with the family. That was supposedly the reason behind the rumor of him leaving the series and perhaps cancellation of it entirely.

Maybe he made a decision that she didn't agree with meaning he wasn't going to do what she wanted!
