Kathryn Dennis of Southern Charm TV show on Bravo   is scheduled to appear before the judge on September 10, 2019.

This will probably mess up her chances for  geytting custody of her children.   Those poor children have the WORST parents.... Thomas has his own legal mess going on as well. 

Kathryn Dennis has landed in legal hot water after getting into a serious car accident with her two children in the back seat.

The Southern Charm star did not walk away from the dangerous wreck unpunished — she was issued a citation for ‘Careless Driving’ on August 5, and is being prosecuted by the Town of Mount Pleasant for the incident.

As reported, Kathryn, 27, was traveling north on Highway 17 in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina on August 4, when she claims that she became distracted by her children in the back seat. Kathryn’s vehicle struck a guard rail, slammed into three trees and two light poles, before coming to a rest in oncoming traffic on the southbound side of the roadway. No injuries were reported

The two children don't stand a chance with those 2 as their parents. 

If they are bringing her up on charges of careless driving there must be something more to it than we know.  Can't say I'm surprised, but tons of accidents are caused by distracted drivers.  Thankfully no one was harmed in this accident, including other drivers on Rte. 17 as that is a very busy route thru the Carolinas.

Never heard of any parent losing custody of their children for "careless driving."

@Mz iMac She already has points against her for drug abuse and alcoholism on her record among other car accident issues....it will not help....

She has random drug tests ordered by the court and has passed them, since she's been out of rehab.

A urine test a couple of weeks ago came up positive, so they did the hair strand drug test afterward and she passed.

Her PAST drug use can't count against her, as long as she continues to be clean now.

It's a far cry from Thomas's current charges in 2 sexual assault cases.

It’s so sad her mother passed away as I think she was very supportive of her and helped with the children. She’s been through a lot.
