It doesn't look like anything you would sleep in, it looks like a slip evening gown. Google it there are a gazillion examples, even as wedding dresses. Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy famously wore one as her wedding dress 20 years ago.

Not that I *follow* fashion models, I def know who Kate Moss is. 

No idea she had a daughter, had to google as she looks nothing like her famous mother --from her head down to her toes.

I like Kate's look, especially for the Gala, it's not *weird* in any way.  I don't like the daughters choice.  Looks like an animal (bird?) of some kind was sacrificed.  Big No No--for me.

It reminds me of gowns they wore in 1930's movies, Jean Harlow etc. I like it.
