No, it's British Detectives. I think they are called DCIs or Detective Chief Inspectors. The acting is very good and so are the plots.

Thank you @Judaline Just found it "On Demand" on my cable station. I love Nicola Walker...she was in another terrific British series called "Last Tango in Halifax," which was about an older couple getting married and blending their two very different families together.
