Just revisited Michael Flatley from Lord of the Dance on You Tube

Wow!!  That's a lot of tap!!  I always lovewd to catch those shows on t.v.  The music too was great.  But that's hard work!!!  

 

Were you a fan, or do you see any of the new dancers that dance like this now?

Loved.  Saw the original company twice with incredible seats and the violinist who went on to play for Celtic Woman..  Incredible show, amazing dancing and in unison.

I never saw the show in person, I'm sure it was amazing seeing it iive.

I have the Riverdance and Lord of the Dance DVD.  I like them both,

but Riverdance is my favorite.

I went to see Lord of the Dance with Michael Flatley many years ago.I had the dvd and tape.I love the music of Riverdance too.

I love the intricacy and precision of Irish step dancing!!

 

I was lucky enough to see Michael Flatley and his troupe in person when he was still performing. 

 

He is a dance genius/maestro who brought Irish dancing to world-wide fame.
