I resisted as long as I could...yesterday it was Steel Magnolias. Don't ask me what's going on. I'm going to be so sorry to know this is my last season with them in England. Thank goodness for DVD's. I'll watch them till I wear them out. I love an English cast.
Anyone else?

Go for it and make a day of watching Colin Firth in Pride and Prejudice! Get snacks, turn off the phone, don't answer the phone, tell ANYONE who comes in the room G E T O U T!!! Just like Doc Martin does!

These are my favorite especially the time period. Just watched Pride & Prejudice this week-end with Keira Knightley. All time fav. is Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson.
I thought the hunk in that film was Colonel Brandon (Alan Rickman) loved his yearning heart for Miss. Marianne. So sweet and sexy.
Downton Abbey will be so missed but I have really enjoyed those January and Feb. Sunday nights.

Oh, you must add THE REMAINS OF THE DAY and HOWARD'S END to your "to see" list ! ( One of my favorite movies, of all time, is THE UNBEARABLE LIGHTNESS OF BEING. )
I just found out the other day that my 40 year old huge manly man of a son ( in size, attitude and demeanor ) absolutely loves STEEL MAGNOLIAS . He says it is right up there on his list with The Godfather, Goodfellows, Casino, etc.

Danky, I don't know The Remains of the Day, so I'll look into that. But Howard's End is right in here with this bunch too. Don't you just love those. I will check on TROTD, too. Thanks.

Did you know that Keira Knightley had a five year or so affair/dating relationship with the actor who played Mr. Wickham. He was so handsome.

Just be careful on the internet. I inadvertently read some big spoilers of the upcoming season. They're out there!

Right! I'm not reading those things, it just makes me sad that it has to end, but I just watch, I don't have to write it. I have no idea how the writer's like on Gray's Anatomy keep a story line going. Just add and subtract people on the show I guess. But having to put words in people's mouths, yikes!
