Just had a flash back to the Young and the Restless

Just thought I'd stop and see what that (show was about now.) Turns out (I've had to look this up) they've had to pull the 1990's shows and are replaying old shows.

I thought, Jack, Victor!!! So young!!! What's going on? Now I know. Even Ashley. No one had aged at all. So funny!!!

I use to love to watch the soaps when I was at home years ago. The holidays, they all dressed up to the 9's.

Does anyone still watch these?

@qualitygal Many many years ago as a favor to my mom, I would go over to her place about once a week to take her on errands as she didn't like to drive at that point and I'd watch with her.

We'd laugh at the way the women dressed for "work" like they were going to a cocktail party. It seemed like everyone in Genoa City either was or had been sleeping with everybody else!!

Yes, a lot of people. A check of any social media with name of show will give you an idea how many people watch, both men and women!

Thanks so much for letting us know! No, I don't watch any soaps anymore. I started watching them as a kid in the 80's, the Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful, but lost interest. Today's episode of Y&R is from 1996 and tomorrow's is from 1992, so can't wait to record it.

Getting to watch those old episodes have really helped me get to know the characters. I started watching three years ago so I love these encore episodes. The Holiday sets and outfits are spectacular compared to what they spend now on sets and wardrobes.
