I watched this film today, "The true story of the Black Panther Party's Illinois chapter chairman, Fred Hampton (Daniel Kaluuya), and William O'Neal (LaKeith Stanfield), the petty criminal who infiltrated the organization and worked on the sly as an FBI informant". The two performances were exceptional, this is not a happy story, not for everyone. Make sure you watch the end for updates.

I thoroughly enjoyed this movie.
It is a story involving Fred Hampton, the head of the Illinois Black Panther Party, William O'Neal, a criminal the FBI flipped to be a confidential informant in the BPP, and Roy Mitchell, an FBI Agent working under J. Edgar Hoover.
The acting was outstanding, particularly Daniel Kaluuya as Fred Hampton, Jesse Plemons as Roy Mitchell, and Martin Sheen as J. Edgar.
The story is based on interviews with Mr. O'Neal.
I hope this movie is recognized at Oscar time.
