Re: Joe Kenda's New American Detective Show -Anyone See It?

I've been watching it.  It's a little better than some of the other shows.

I like the way he interjects a little humor into it.  I like it when people make a funny in a deadpan voice.

My understanding from the commercials was that it would air weekly on Wednesday night on ID and you can stream it anytime on Discovery+.

@Icegoddess  I found it On Demand on Comcast, and am now watching episode 2.  I really like this series a lot so far.

The opening scene of episode 1 really caught my attention.

Re: Joe Kenda's New American Detective Show -Anyone See It?

I caught a bit of Joe Kenda's new show.

I liked his original show better. I think because they were the crimes that he solved. He knew the details because he lived it.

The new show are other Detectives cases. So he is just basically the narrator.

It's nice to hear Joe's voice again, but what I am enjoying about this series is that it is mostly narration from the detectives that actually worked the cases.

ETA:  And I just heard him (Kenda) utter the first "Well my my my." 😂

In his book Joe said there were some of his cases that were just too horrible for television but that he was looking into a new series with these cases. Pretty sure that's what he said. I read it a couple of years ago.

The 4th one in the series was really good-the one about the missing school teacher. Fast moving, lots of Joe-just good.
