Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

Ozempic is the brand name for the drug semaglutide. It's FDA-approved for diabetes. Rebranding of the same drug, semaglutide, is named Wegovy and that one is FDA-approved for weight loss. Same drug just different names.

Rybelus (for diabetes) is another semaglutide.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

Jessica stated many years ago after leaving her home here in Richardson Texas that she just could not give up our type of eating, Chicken Fried Steak and gravy.  I think she does love food but she gained way too much and it was not good for her overall health.  Kelly Clarkston also said she does not want to stop eating our Texas fired food and TexMex.  Cannot blame them one bit.  I hope Jessica can find a good balance, it is very hard and the daily exercise I do to keep eating gravy.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

She lost the weight after her last child who is now three, she didn't just lose 100lbs.

She just posted a picture with how she really looks with absolutely no makeup.

I googled her and just found this pic dated Jan 2023. To me it doesn't look like JS.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

Her weight had Bern up and down and up again for many years.  Yes, she looks very thin but the same people who comment on her weight now, would be talking about her if she was in one of her overweight periods.  She's a grown woman with a husband, a family and she has access to medical care.

@Linmo She is NOT healthy.  She is thin....that does not mean healthy

@SeaMaiden How do you know she's not healthy? No one who is obese is healthy.

Her legs look like she exercises.  I defend people who try to stay slim since all my life I have been accused of an eating disorder even by my own female cousins.   5'2" and 90 pounds.  I eat, I exercise.  I think she looks great.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

@beckyb1012

Same here. I'm 5'2" and I've been at 115lbs most of my life except right after I retired and then I gained 20, got really sick and then went down to 95 which was too thin for me. I lost weight really fast and my face got sunken and I had lose skin all over my body. Most of that filled back up after I gained some weigh back but my face looked old and saggy. I went and got a laser face-lift. Hated the way I looked at 47...like an old woman too soon. No regrets about the lift.Woman Happy
