Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

I am a lot like Jessica.  I have gained weight a few times and then I have worked it off.

Everytime I get my weight down to where I should be for my height, I have to listen to people telling me I look sick, my eyes are sunk in, my skin is pale, I lost too much, etc.

It is really sad to hear such negative comments when you have worked so hard to lose the excess weight.  Everyone should mind their own business and not body shame or make comments about someone weight.  It is 100% wrong.

I myself, never mentioned someone weight or weight loss.  If someone loses weight and I notice, I just say how wonderful they look without mentioning the weight loss.  Some people are RUDE.

Jessica looks wonderful, but very different without make-up. She should be able to be photographed with a clean face without getting negative comments.

Same here. I'm 5'2" and I've been at 115lbs most of my life except right after I retired and then I gained 20, got really sick and then went down to 95 which was too thin for me. I lost weight really fast and my face got sunken and I had lose skin all over my body. Most of that filled back up after I gained some weigh back but my face looked old and saggy. I went and got a laser face-lift. Hated the way I looked at 47...like an old woman too soon. No regrets about the lift.Woman Happy

That sunken face thing is what happens when we lose weight quickly. They are calling it Ozempic face and I don't know why.  It's weightloss face.  It happens when we lose the fat in our faces.  It's why when we lose a lot of weight, people ask if we are sick or start rumors that we are sick.  I lost 170lbs 30ish years ago and it took many years for my face to fill out.  After regaining some of that weight,  I'm  losing it but I absolutely will put the breaks on around a size 14.  I'm 62 now and I don't want a droopy face.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

Jessica is barely 5 feet tall. She is a tiny human. I saw her at a mall with an entourage around her and was shocked at how small she is. She had gained a lot of weight after her pregnancies. I don't think she has recently lost 100 lbs as she has maintained a lovely figure for the last several years.
I just read her short story on Amazon "They Always Tell You They're Single". Speculation is that the "movie star" Jess talks about in the story is Donnie Wahlberg.

I googled her and just found this pic dated Jan 2023. To me it doesn't look like JS.

That's because she isn't wearing any makeup.  She's seen in full drag.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

Below is the article she did with Instagram posts in July 2022 on how she did the diet and exercise.  She says in the article that she has gained and loss 100 pd. three different times.

Re: Jessica Simpson's excessive 100 pound weight loss

She has had a couple of tummy tucks. One the doctor advised against. She developed an infection with it and it took quite a toll on her overall health. I believe the last one was right after the birth of her youngest child. Maybe that's one of the reasons she looks thinner? I've never seen a pic of her looking overweight except the one posted here.

She certainly looks very different without makeup.  I don't think I would have recognized if we weren't discussing her here.
