@Katcat1 Actually his name is Jussie. I always think Jesse when I hear it! Thanks for the update.

@Love my grandkids

Is "Jussie" even a real name?    I know a lot of musicians and actors use contrived or  fake names ... but have you ever known anyone actually named "Jussie" ?

I'm curious-- did the 2 brothers get any jail time or fines?

@coffee drinker The 2 brothers did not commit a crime or file a false police report and were not prosecuted.

A slap on the wrist, but glad he got fined and it will cost him.

Re: Jesse Smolett 150 days in jail

I thought his dramatic outburst at the end was disturbing.  Really.  He could have been sentenced to more time, but considering I didn't think he would get any time, this seems like the judge handled it well.  Earlier I was posting on another thread about this subject but it's been removed - wonder what happened?

CBS Chicago: Jussie Smollett's family furious after he's sentenced to jail time

CBS2's Charlie De Mar is at the George N. Leighton Criminal Court Building.

In the video, the Smollett family speaks out after the sentencing. They insist he is innocent and was telling the truth about the victim of a violent attack, and are furious that he has been sentenced to prison after being convicted of lying.

I want to watch Wheel of Fortune!   Jesse seems to have major problems yelling he is innocent and he is not suicidal with his fist in the air.  OMG!

@Katcat1 Yeah, he has major problems alright, the first being a narcissistic personality disorder. They're never wrong in their own mind. Everyone else is. He got off too easy.

Hmmmm, that personality type sounds very familiar. Woman Wink

Pretty poor acting. I've seen better on old Perry Mason reruns. How unfortunate for real crime victims whose cases might not be believed.
