TV and Movies

I find both shows very boring. At least Kelly has a sense of humor. And don't get me started on Dr Phil's new season. I'm glad I have a lot of other things to do in the afternoon!

Why on earth would JH even think about a talk show? Is she out of money and figures she just can? Or maybe the network just needs somebody to fill this time slot.  I don't watch these talk shows, don't like them, don't like the hosts, don't like The View because I especially can not stand that guy who now in on The new Love Boat, he's absolutely rude and ignorant. Don't watch Drew B either, can't even imagine why they'd renew her show. 

I'd rather watch reruns on most any program than these ridculously stupid talk shows. These new ones will last one season then they'll be gone baby gone.

@CalminHeart  I agree with you.  Too many of these type of shows.  Not interested in Kelly Clarkson or Jennifer Hudson.  And Dr. Phil's premier episodes have been polarizing as well, just not interested in these topics of discussion.

I'm back to Judge Judy for my afternoon entertainment.  I did give Drew Barrymore a shot last year, and it was OK, but they changed her timeslot and now I have no idea when its on.  Not up to watching TV in the mornings as that is when I do my chores.  It is nice to sit down around 3 or 4 and be able to watch something enjoyable and somewhat entertaining, but sitting thru an hour of drug ads is not my idea of entertainment.

The only thing good on TV these days are the Subaru commercials with the dogs and the one cell phone commercial with the cat and his friends taking selfies. Now that's entertainment!!

@Meowingkitty that chewy commercial is one of my favorites! I believe the talk show format is over. I used to enjoy them but now...not so much. It could be because we get so much information from many sources. By the time the topic/person is on the show we already know about it. I plan to read more this fall. Has anyone read any good books?

Shows are truly boring. Don’t watch either. Even Kelly and Ryan has become boring. It seems to always be pre-recorded. Even they don’t want to be there.

I've seen promos for the Jennifer Hudson Show that are so goofy, I wouldn't bother watching on that basis alone.

The talk show circuit is filled with celebrity names whether they are good at it or not. Much like the products they endorse. Slap a celebrity name on it and $$.

I say stay in your lane. If you are good at singing stay, there etc.…
