I just finished this series , no wonder Jean Smart won the Emmy , she was great in this role. The writing was so good , and the young actress that plays her writing partner held her own.Now i will watch Mare of Easttown , when i am ready for that kind of suspense.

I didn't realize her husband died , while shooting the show , she had one week left and had to shoot a big funeral scene , can you imagine ?

@MW in Iowa I love this show!  I'm on episode 5 or so.  Do you know when the new season starts?  I gotta get caught up!

I would imagine it would be close to a year  , the way things are going. The only bad thing , with the new series , are only 10 episodes , but i will take quality over quanity.

Yes, where can this be seen?  And can you give a brief idea of what it's about without giving too much away.  I love Jean Smart!

S he definitely deserved that Emmy.  No one else came close to her performance in that show.

@MW in Iowa,

Thanks for the great recommendation.

You're right-it is good!

I do love Jean Smart.
