@Toots711  Wow!  I pray that he is OK, I like Jay Leno (saw him live once at a fundraiser), and his wife Mavis is not well, so I hope he recovers quickly so he can be there for his wife.  He does great charity work all the time.

He's had a few rough years, maybe he needs to take it a little easy now.

He's gone through so much. I can't imagine falling down that's the hill and

then quickly going on stage in a few hours. What a trooper.

BRUISES ON FACE#JAY LENO FALLS 60 FT DOWN HILL#JAY LENO THE COMEDIAN #LEGEND JAY LENO - YouTube

The 74-year-old former “Tonight Show” host and TV personality arrived at his latest comedy show with an eye patch, broken wrist, bruised face and body.

He told “Inside Edition” that he fell down the side of a hill on his way to dinner before a Pittsburgh show.

“I’m a little beat up,” he told the outlet.” “I fell 60 feet. Boom, boom, boom, boom.”

Leno said he “hit a bunch of rocks,” which resulted in him being “all black and blue.” He noted that one of the rocks hit him in the eye, which is why he needed the eye patch. He also lost a nail on his finger.

When asked if he would be able to see again, he said, “It’ll be fine. I’m not worried about it.”

Despite the fall, Leno performed just three hours later and did not cancel his stand-up shows. The comedian also took the stage in Beverly Hills on Nov. 18..

Poor guy, I was just reading about his accident on a newsfeed.  I wish him well and hope he recovers quickly without any lingering issues.

It's not the first injury for Jay. He seems a bit accident prone, or perhaps too much of a risk taker. But, he bounces back like it's nothing, rarely missing a performance, or favorite activity. He's a tough guy. He's gonna need to cut back on shortcuts though.

@BlueFinch - Yes, he does seem to be accident prone, he needs to slow down and take it easy, he's no spring chicken anymore, I do wish him well.

He looks a little pale in the photos.  I guess he didn't get his dinner.

One thing I don't understand .... whomever hired Jay to do the show spent some $$$ for his fee and travel .... but Jay didn't have a representative to meet  and get him settled and whatever .... AND he didn't have access to a car!  He had to WALK outside where he was staying to go get his dinner!

What the heck?   Woman Surprised
