I never see it advertised or hear anything about it anymore.
@Kachina624 Spanx still sells shapewear, but with the industry putting less focus on tight, constricting undergarments, and more on on trend fashion, Spanx looks entirely different today. They advertise very heavily on social media.

@Caaareful Shopper. I've never seen any Spanx ad on Facebook which is the only social media I view. I noticed a new brand of shaperwear has appeared, Shapermint. I though that was strange.

@Kachina624 Spanx advertises their fashion lines in a huge way on Instagram and TiktoK. They've left QVC in the dust.
Yes, Shapermint has been presented on QVC quite a lot lately.

@cheriere QVC management took quite a bit of time selling make-up for anyone darker than models with pale or slightly tanned skin colors. There were discussions on the forums; and as I recall, some people didn't understand the need for make-up that was suitable for different skin colors. A few suggested that this was PC in action. Two lines at the Q were most suitable, initially, for different skin colors: Bare Minerals and Prescriptives. HSN had Iman's makeup line for some time.
The Q changed its product line when they assessed the amount of profits to be made by being more expansive. Now, the vendors seem to ensure that their products are suitable for a range of skin colors from porcerlain/ivory to dark/chestnut/walnut.

Thank you for posting this information. I completely agree with you.❤️
I remember those days when they barely offered any darker shades. I'm really happy they've started offering more variety. But, honestly, I still don't think they bring in enough darker shades. I also notice the numbers brought in must be very small because they always sell out too quickly.

I didn't see the interview , it sounds like she has done well for herself . Didnt philosophy's founder Christina sell her company to L'Oréal as well ?
Jamie looks great from the photo , she has changed a lot from when she was on the Q, lost weight , changed hair color etc.

Yes, she also sold her company. I was thinking it was to Coty, but I could be wrong.❤️

I remember a few years ago when Jamie still owned IT and she was doing a speaking engagement about being inclusive, or something of that matter. Jackie Aiana (sp?) who is a WOC on YouTube with a few million subscribers did a video calling Jamie out and calling her a hypocrite (her words, not mine) for the IT makeup shade range and the lack there of. I don't know if Jamie or someone on her team at IT saw Jackie's video or not, but with a few million subscribers, I would think that IT would've been made aware somehow.
Jamie's success is a really wonderful story. No doubt she sacrificed a lot by starting her own makeup brand. Didn't the founder of Tarte Cosmetics also start Tarte out of her house?
