I knew he had "retired" from TCM years ago. We missed him a lot, I really really liked him.

I always enjoyed him and the people he interviewed.  Sorry it was by cancer, and 93 is a good long life in my book.  I'm sure his family will miss him too.

Just because someone has passed on does not mean that any opinions we had about them disappear.  She just gave her impression of him.  No harm to anyone.

Aw, I always liked him.  That said, however, I really never knew anything about his life.   

I watched the show when it was with a person or cast I liked.  It was always very good and a big part of that was his hosting.
