He was 88.  I remember him from Gidget, Time Tunnel and TJ Hooker.  I think he also had a hit record.   Very handsome.  May he rest in peace.

I never heard him called that, @Tinkrbl44.  It was always James Darren.

I didn't realize he died until I read this.  Thanks for letting me know.  I'm surprised that it hasn't popped up in FB newsfeed like most celebrity deaths do.  I guess it will eventually.
