Is anyone looking forward to the new Downton Abbey film?

I am ,and even my husband wants to see it. We enjoyed the TV series so much, I  hope the film is as good

I loved the Brideshead Revisited series on Masterpiece Theater years ago.  When it was made into a movie, I liked it but the series was so well done all the way around, it didn't need to be made into a movie in my opinion.

 

With that being said the popularity of Downton and the fact it is a continuation of the series should be excellent in acting , settings and story line.  I dfefinitely will see it out of interest in what happened after to all the characters!

I probably won't go to see the movie in the theatre when it premieres in September.  I'll wait until I can rent it and see it at home so I can use captions to not miss any of the witty things Maggie Smith's character says.
