Interview with the Vampire - AMC Season 2

Anyone watching this?

It's got excellent acting and the reviews for the series have been tops. I realize the subject matter is not for everyone but for me it's not boring and it's different from the rest of the shows I normally watch these days. I have been enjoying the series so far.

I've been watching and agree the acting is fantastic.  I wasn't wowed by Season 1 and this season started slow for me, but last weeks episode was amazing.  I DVRd last nights episode, so hope it continues to be good.  I am really liking Armand.

I enjoyed the first season so that's why I'm watching the second one.

I agree, Armand is fascinating.

He's the newest addition to my vamp baby daddy list.

Lestate French panty melting accent makes him very sexy.

Claudia's eyes are really creepy to me especially with that blue eye makeup she wears on stage. She's the new Claudia. The actress from S1 got replaced.

I watched most of S1.

The first part of the season really held my attention...

then I quit.

Just like sci-fi for me, vampire stories start off captivating and then I fizzle.

The book "The Witching Hour" enthralled me cover to cover.

It was mostly an account of how vampires began and followed tales of them from Europe to Haiti and then to the US.

I will try this season though...

The first season I loved the way "Old New Orleans" was portrayed.

@LTT1   Ann Rice book The Witching Hour is about witches NOT vampires.  The story takes place in New Orleans.

I think you are getting your vampires and/or books mixed up.

Ann Rice origins of her vampires are detailed in the books The Vampire Lestat and The Queen of the Damned.
