He played Tommy Bradford on Eight is Enough. I didn't get to see it all of the time, but I did watch when I could. Tommy was so cute! He guest starred on The Love Boat, playing Doc's nephew, and now is a cruise director for Oceania Cruises! It looks like he acts in Hallmark movies once in a while too! I've probably seen him in shows and never noticed!

i really liked him in the hallmark christmas movie "every christmas has a story."

had a crush on him when he was on eight is enough. i wonder why none of the nostalgia channels show it?

During that time, Aames was cruise director for Oceania, circling the globe and visiting more than 125 countries in the process.

Aames began his career as a child actor, appearing in episodes of popular series such as “The Odd Couple,” “Cannon,” “The Courtship of Eddie’s Father,” “The Waltons” and “Adam-12,” among others. At just 12 years old, he was cast as a series regular in “Wait Till Your Father Gets Home,” followed by series regular roles in “We’ll Get By,” “Swiss Family Robinson” and “Family.” In his twenties, Aames starred in the CBS series “Dungeons & Dragons,” and in hit TV movies “Eight Is Enough: A Family Reunion” and “An Eight Is Enough Wedding.” He created, executive produced, wrote, directed and starred in the platinum-selling Christian direct-to-video series “Bibleman.”

Aames starred in the feature films Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, Cut and Run, Killing Machine, Scavenger Hunt, Paradise and Zapped!, as well as video releases F.L.U.I.D., The

Wow, I remember watching Eight is Enough growing up and never missed an episode. I wish they would show the reruns of it on Antenna TV or another retro channel...I would so watch! I watch the Hallmark Christmas movies so I'll have to look for him. I could see him as a cruise director...he has a pleasant smile, is personable with a great speaking voice. P.S. Thanks for posting the Teen Beat picture...it made me smile.
