I ❤️ this movie! I have the soundtrack and sing along all the time.

"These Are a Few of My Favorite Things..." is a favorite song. My favorite thing in the movie is the gazebo. Every time those scenes are on I tell my husband I need that in my back yard and he looks at me like I'm crazy. 😂

@wildcat fan Agree with your better half. There's a large one a few street over from me - and in 30 years have never seen one person in it. It's a corner lot so fully visible.

Every time I see one when I'm out and about, it's empty. I guess TV has given them a romantic feel for me. I remember when the dad on The Waltons built one for the mom. The one in Sound of Music seems perfect because of the windows to close out the mosquitos, but it would probably be too hot here. It's never going to happen, but I can still dream. 😊

@qualitygal Edelweiss has always been my favorite too. I have actually fast forwarded through the movie just to watch those scenes. We took a Sound of Music tour when we were in Salzburg. Fun seeing some of the places where they filmed.
