If you’re a fan of the law and order franchise...

You need to see the Paley Center presents before they were stars.

It's all about the group of actors that make the shows including all of their guest stars. It's very entertaining and informative and confirmed much of what I'd already inferred from watching them all.

have you ever noticed that 95% of the regulars were first guest stars on, often, a few episodes across the franchise? I assumed they all came back and auditioned for the regular parts but apparently, through cast interviews, I learned they all got phone calls from ****** Wolf asking if they'd like to be on the show regularly and that he had roles for them?! I thought that was cool. It was gratifying to hear that they were paid very well and that it was such a supportive working environment and how many careers were so positively affected.
If you're a big fan like myself it's a fun watch

I am a Law and Order fan. I really liked Jerry Orbach, Jesse L. Martin, Dennis Farina and Sam Watterson.  Where can I watch this show?

S. Epatha Merkerson. She was an AMAZING sense of balance in the plots.

I can't remember if she was in the very first episodes, but I do remember her interactions with at least Jerry Orbach, whom I absolutely loved in the show.

To this day I can't understand why it was discontinued.

Jerry Orbach was very ill (cancer) in the last few years of the run, and he willed his corneas to be harvested upon his death, and by doing so, restored the sight of two people.

She actually appeared in one episode of  L&O in1991, playing a different character. In1993, she began her run as Lt Van Buren.

The show originally aired on USA network. Check your On Demand listings within your cable service. Maybe it's on Netflix if you don't have cable

According to S Epatha Merkelson, Jerry Orbach and Jesse Martin We're well-versed in every musical theater number ever written and they spent a lot of time on set doing three part harmonies! LOL

USA does little interview clips during shows and apparently Jesse is a big theater guy. He said that the high point of his life was when Gregory Hines was on the show and between takes broke into a 20 minute tap routine in the middle of the court room!

S. Epatha mentioned it on the show and said how sorry she was to have missed it! 😄

Jesse Martin had the role of Tom Collins in Rent on Broadway and in the movie.
