If You Loved Downton

[ Edited ]

Last night I watched The Buccanners (1995) which is a fantastic miniseries that takes us back to England through the eyes of five young ladies who go there for a "season" (time for young ladies to go out in society).

This is likey the way Cora, Countess of Granthem came from the US.

We follow these girls as their interesting lives unfold.

Episode 1 youtube.

I  actually bought that one when it was on PBS many years ago. I still love it.

@ECBG

Oh, I'm excited to see this.  Is it elsewhere besides YouTube?

I watched the Dowtown Abbey movie again for a second time the other night and cried and sighed all over again.

It was just such a perfect ending to an extremely enjoyable story.  I always wish there was some way to make these shows go on forever!

This is an excellent series.  I saw it when it was on in the nineties.  It is definitely a worth while watch, great acting and settings.

Absolutely love this. I have watched it over and over again. Every girl needs her own Miss Testvalley.
